With a host of programmes, sound build quality and powerful motor, all backed up with a superb warranty, the Prisma M60 is a fantastic treadmill that will satisfy the needs of all users
- including club level runners.
Excuse the pun, but you will be up and running in no time with this treadmill!
We got the M60 out of the box and ready to go in less than a minute thanks
to the exclusive "Plug&Run" functionality. This was much appreciated as there is nothing worse than spending hundreds of pounds for a treadmill to find out you will be spending the next 4 hours putting the thing together.
The Prisma M60 has a great cushioning system too, with PCS (progressive cushioning system) technology and 8 elastomers - Ideal for those who want to take special care of their joints. Those of you who are carrying injuries will find this cushioning to be beneficial too.
The 2.25 continuous duty motor coped admirably when we put it through its paces. Throughout the speed range of 1 to 22kph and all the way up to the maximum 12% incline the motor was nice and quiet with a smooth delivery of power. Once you start hitting the higher numbers, the continuous HP expands to a top end of 4HP, meaning the only straining noises you'll hear at 22kph will be you!
The M60 has a decent, clear display. The information is split between 3 blue backlit LCD display windows so during your workout you can keep tabs on your progress and performance. In total there are 9 pre-set profiles, as well as 3 courses that can be customised plus a heart rate controlled programme.
We had no problems with the belt. BH call this an "XXL belt" and at 126cm (50") long and 55cm (22") wide we can't really argue with them. The fact it's a decent size makes it an ideal choice for those who haven't run on a treadmill before.
As you would expect from such a quality mill, the M60 comes with heart rate control functionality. This enables you to train more effectively by adjusting the intensity of the workout, ensuring your heart rate is always in the correct zone for your workout goals, whether they are fitness or weight loss. Just add a compatible chest belt and the M60 takes care of the rest.
The M60 features handrail buttons to instantly, quickly and safely adjust both the incline and speed during your workout. This is not only a great feature for those who are pounding the deck at 16kph, but also for users who want to use the treadmill for rehabilitation as you can keep hold of the handrails for safety.
Due to the high quality build of the M60 it can handle intensive home use of up to 20 hours per week. Very impressive.
When not in use, the M60 folds up easily, to free up your floor space.
The warranty on this treadmill looks pretty standard at first - 10 Years Frame and Motor, 2 Years Parts and Labour. However should anything go wrong, BH Fitness guarantee to have the machine repaired within 7 days of reporting the fault. How's that for peace of mind?
In summary the M60 is a cracking treadmill. It's easy to assemble, comfortable to use and has enough programmes to keep users happy for years to come.
