To find out more about what the Bowflex 7 had to offer keep reading below:

The Bowflex 7 Series Treadmill is the top of the range in the Bowflex portfolio. It has much more to offer than the 5 Series and we felt this to be a far better machine than its little brother and well worth splashing out the £175 difference.

The Bowflex 7 is a beauty! It’s stylish, hi-tech look just calls out to you to get on and give it a go. It has a good choice of programmes to choose from, 15 in total, including cardio, running, fat burn, speed interval jogger, hill intervals, 5K run with 12 intervals, heart strength/recovery test, calorie goal, distance goal, fat burn heart rate calculation, cardio heart rate calculation plus manual and two custom programmes for you to set your own challenge.

The two heart rate controlled programmes will keep you in the maximum fat-burning zone and you can use either the grips or chest strap provided to measure you pulse.

Having variation in your training programme increases your chances of success in achieving your fitness goals. If you keep using the same workout the benefits become less and less as your body is no longer pushed that little bit further each time.

It took us about 40 minutes to put the machine together but it’s not difficult or complicated. Some retailers offer to install it for you but charge on average around £90 which we think is a waste of money. If you can do flat-pack furniture you could do this easily.

Once on the machine it feels great. It has a solid feel, excellent build with quality components and many useful features. The large running deck is a joy to run on as it feels soft to land on and springs back on lift off. The Strike ZoneTM deck suspension makes it a comfortable treadmill to use even for the novice runner.

The powerful 3.0 HP motor can shift the large belt up to 11 mph which allows you to go right up to a sprint and still feel safe running on it. We found the display easy to read and the controls quick to respond and use when running.

The Bowflex warrant covers the frame for 15 years, the motor for 10 years and all other parts and electronic components for 2 years. Also included is 1 year on site labour.
