Life Fitness Treadmill Reviews

Top quality machines – the Rolls Royce of treadmills

Life Fitness treadmills are one the best known brands on the market and have been around for over 30 years. Their excellent build quality, durability and innovative features make them practically an automatic choice for commercial gyms and health clubs.

Many of the features in the commercial grade models can now be found in folding machines suitable for home use including the Flex DeckTM cushioning system to reduce impact on your joints, many consider this to be the best system on the market.

You won’t be surprised to find out that we’re not talking budget prices. However, their recent targeting of the home market has made top quality, feature-packed treadmills available at prices that were unheard of not so long ago. With models starting at £1,695 and several to choose from coming in at under £2,000 you’ll be hard pressed to find such quality at a comparable price elsewhere.

If you’re really serious about treadmill training and have deep pockets you could spend well over £7,000 on their top models!

Life Fitness treadmills motors have an excellent reputation. Having originally being designed for the heavy use of the commercial market, their MagnaDriveTM motors are quiet, smooth and powerful. The smart motor system actually communicates with the console and adjusts to the precise power needed depending on your weight! Most models use a powerful 3hp motor that could more than cope with the demands of even the serious runner.

Please note:
Life Fitness exercise treadmills will usually cost the same from all retailers. This is because Life Fitness are careful about who sells their fitness equipment. Retailers have to have at least six different models on display to the public in a showroom before Life Fitness will supply them.

But Beware! A number of online retailers will list Life Fitness treadmills and equipment on their website at a great looking price. But – when you come to order one they will contact you to say something like ‘they’re currently experiencing delays and would you like a similar model at a lower price’. If this happens cancel your order straight away! The truth is they can’t sell Life Fitness as they don’t meet the criteria and will try to fob you off with a sub-standard model at an inflated price.

Life Fitness treadmills come with manufacturer’s lifetime guarantee on the frame, 5 years on electrical and mechanical Parts and 1 year on site labour, (always check the details of the warranty with your retailer.)

If you’re serious about your training and can stretch to the cost, you can’t go wrong with any of the Life Fitness models. They are THE market-leader and everyone else is still playing catch-up when it comes to making quality treadmills that will keep you motivated to train week in week out.

Note: most Life Fitness treadmills will require professional installation and most authorised retailers will provide this service free.
