The TrimMaster T360 HRE treadmill comes with an impressive list of features. It has no fewer than 20 programmes including two heart rate controlled ones to get you into the fat-burning zone.
The first thing you notice is its wide belt. Although 40 cm is probably fine for most, there's something to be said for running on a wide deck as it gives you the feeling of security. If you're unused to using treadmills then this is a good deck to start with.
Many people are fine on the wide commercial machines in the gym but feel a bit unsure when first running on a model for home use. The TrimMaster T360 with its 51cm width will make anyone feel at home, even the complete novice.
The deck feels comfortable with its shock absorption system although we were a little disappointed to find you can't adjust it. We all have our preferences, some like the hard road feel whilst others like a springy deck like a tartan rubber running track. Quite a few models in this price range let you change the bounce in the deck but unfortunately this one doesn't.
With a top speed of 11 mph combined with a powered incline up to 12% it should give all but elite ultra-marathon runners a run for their money. When you're looking to achieve a goal it's important to have variation in your training and with these speeds and sloping deck the 20 programmes will certainly do that for you.
It doesn't have anything quite so fancy as iFit Software which a number of its rivals boast, namely Proform and NordicTrack but it does have a station and speakers for your iPod!
Other models in this price range also out-power the T360 with 2.5 and 3.0 HP motors. It's a bit like the old status symbol of having a car with a 2 litre engine, it's not always necessary but some treadmill users feel they need at least 2.5 HP before they'll consider getting on the machine.
However, the T360's 2.0 HP offering seems more than capable of shifting the large belt and isn't too noisy - although we've tested quieter.
The console is easy enough to use and it's laid out in a sensible way. The only moan we have is the screen is a little on the small side and some may have difficulty reading the numbers.
Quality machines come with good warranties and this one comes with an impressive 15 year cover on the frame and motor, and two years on-site parts and labour for everything else.

Pros and Cons Reviewers Ratings
In brief: The TrimMaster T360 HRE is a high spec machine with a superb range of programmes and features to keep you running week in week out without getting bored. It's a quality machine with a solid feel to it and feels like it will keep going for years. It's up against some very stiff competition from the Tunturi T20 and especially the Nordictrack C2500 with its iFit software but it does stand up well on its own. We were split three ways between these models. If you prefer solid, dependable machines the Tunturi shades it. The NordicTrack will keep the gadget and techie types more than happy, whereas the T360 will do a bit of both!

TrimMaster T360 HRE Treadmill - User Reviews
The Pros:
The features most users liked about this treadmill were:-
The large running deck - very generous width.
The heart rate control programmes.
A place for your iPod and built-in speakers is very useful.
The console was easy to use with the quick key buttons.
Running in this machine was very comfortable.
The fan is actually quite powerful and will keep you cool - many fans we've come across are a waste of space and power.
An excellent warranty.
The Cons:
The LCD display is a bit small and some may find it difficult to read.
Perhaps a slightly bigger motor would be better, although the 2 HP seems to handle the belt pretty well.
A number of models in this price range allow you to adjust the shock absorption level to suit your preference - the T360 doesn't.
