The Weslo XL folding treadmill is one of the top selling treadmills on the market and it's easy to see why. When you first take a look at the Weslo XL you can see that this is a quality built machine although this is to be expected from a Weslo Treadmill. Not only is this a well built machine but it's also packed full of features you'd expect from a much more expensive treadmill, like its large (continuous duty) 1.75 HP motor, giving it a more fluid and quieter running motion. All in all, it's a lot of treadmill for the money.
With a top speed of 16 KM/H (that's around 10 MPH), power incline (maximum incline of 10%), 6 preset programmes that automatically change the incline and speed as you're running, and a maximum user weight of 120kg or 18.5 stone , this is an ideal treadmill for the user of most fitness levels and sizes.
So let's have a closer look at those features.
The speed and incline will be more than enough for most users. Keep it at the maximum settings for 5 minutes if you don't believe us!
The cushioned deck performs much better than expected. Your joints will really thank you for using this treadmill.
Also, you really benefit from the continuous duty motor. As well as delivering a reduction in noise, it makes for a much smoother running experience. Oh and did we mention that its quiet?
The Weslo XL also has a pretty good sized running area of 40cm(W) x 120cm(L) which suits users of most sizes. However, if you're over lucky enough to be over 6.2 feet you might want to look for a treadmill with a longer running area, like the York T301. But obviously be prepared to pay more.
The console on the Weslo XL is well laid out and clear, allowing you to keep track of your speed, time, distance, amount of calories burnt off and pulse rate. As with other Weslo treadmills, the easy to use controls allow you to quickly and easily adjust the speed and incline while working out.
For the price, the 2 years onsite parts and labour warranty certainly adds great value.
